YOUR VIDEOS, CURATED

Find the hook
in every video.

The best moment is often buried in the middle of a long clip. Social Media Hook Finder checks yesterday’s videos—longest first—or the clips you choose, and shows the exact second worth opening your next Reel, Short, or TikTok on. Everything runs on your iPhone.

Longest first

Long clips are checked first, about once a second, so the hook you would have scrolled past still gets found.

The exact second

Apple’s Vision framework scores faces, people, pets, motion, lighting, and sound levels to pick the moment to open on.

Hook ideas

On supported iPhones, Apple Intelligence writes on-screen hook text and a caption—on device, with nothing uploaded.

Why does Scan yesterday ask for full photo access?

To find the videos you took yesterday without you picking each one, the app needs to read your library. If you prefer, tap Choose older videos instead—the system picker shares only the clips you select.

The daily scan didn’t run at an exact time.

iOS decides when background work runs based on battery, usage, and connectivity, so timing varies. You can always open the app and tap Scan yesterday.

How do I turn off access or delete my data?

Change Photos and Notifications access in the iPhone Settings app under Social Media Hook Finder. Clear saved picks in the app’s Settings tab. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Why don’t I see Apple Intelligence suggestions?

Written hooks and captions need an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer) with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. Other iPhones still get the full on-device video analysis with suggested openings.

Does a high Hook Score guarantee views?

No. Hook Scores are creative guidance based on visual and sound signals, not predictions of reach or engagement.
